question about selig head in ut2003

in my version of ut2k3, whenever i do the 3d view of selig (the gen mo'kai model B with the mask) i see a weird texture that looks all silvery. does anyone else's version do this too? and if your version doesn't do this, can you tell me? i'll give you my secondary email so you can send me the playerskins.utx file. thanks to anyone that can help.

I think this has nothing to do with a corrupt texture file...
I heard from this problem when you use OpenGL instead of DirectX.
Are you using OpenGL?

try converting to .jpg next time. they are a fraction of the file size.

oops. i was, but my comp locked up at the time. stupid popups
im using directx.
