Practing possible new phrases I might have to use while I look for a new job:

Come work for my movie theatre chain!

"Would you like to make your medium drink a large for a quarter more?"
"Enjoy the show"
"No, I don't set the prices."
"I need you to be quiet or I'll have to remove you from the theatre."
"Sorry folks, the movie is all over the floor."
"Would you be interested in our combo special?"
"Where's Frank? He's late... again."
"Inventory is off AGAIN!"

Well, good luck finding a new job. Don't let the man get you down.

A professor of mine here is an ex-motorola employee. My college is about to start a game design emphasis as part of the Computer Science Major. Last I heard they still hadn't settled down on someone to teach it.... Come to Wisconsin :-)

Boy oh Boy Mel, I worked for Kerasotes Theatre, and it all sounds so familiar!

"I will need to see some ID"
"I'm sorry sir, you're not 18"
"Would you like butter on that?"
"This movie does not have out takes"
"What do I think of Gigli? I loved it Ma'am, best movie ever"

I feel your pain. I haven't been able to find a programming job here in Texas for over a year. Been doing whatever I can find, mostly retail. They say things are getting better, but I don't believe it.

"The Windex is on the end of aisle 4."
"I need to see your drvier's license, Sir."
"No, we don't have any Pokemon cards."
"How come I am the only one unloading the truck?"
"Thank God, only two more hours."
