Keep in mind that this suggestion is solely mine and is not in any way related to anything that has already been established by the team or anything that is in the process of being made. This suggestion is purely for suggestions sake.
now that thats over with , I think that a good Chaos solution to hte Avril , is to leave it in (as the bots look for it by name) and add alongside it , the Chaos Gravgun.
The Gravgun Inflicts no damage of its own , but instead is a tractor beam weapon. The Basic primary fire funtion of the weapon would be to Grab an object. While holding the Primary fire button , the Object, be it a Vehicle or player , could be manipulated by the player as though it were on a long pole. So they can be lifted , swung around , tossed , and even used as a giant hammer(although this wouldnt be the case with players , only vehicles. A player in the Clutches of the gravgun would have full ability to fire , and the grav gun would not be limited to enemy vehicles and players. You could use it to elevate your comrades to new heights.
Secondary Fire would be used to push or pull whatever is on the end of the beam. this would be accomplished by having whatever is on the end of the beam move opposite to whatever direction you move , while Secondary is held. So . moving back would push them farther out , and moving forward would pull them in.
The Awo Funtion would completely change the Way the gun fires , from a sustained beam , to bursts.
AWO primary fire would be a chargable burst, it flies out of the gun , and depending on how powerful a charge was placed into the burst , launches the object in a direction.
AWO secondary , would Set a direction for primary to launch objects/players in. Holding secondary and moving forward , then releasing secondary , would cause anything struck by the Primary fire beam to fly Away from you.
Going backward would cause them to fly towards you , and Left and right would send them left/right when struck by the burst. Crouching would bring them down when hit , and Jumping would send them up when hit.
This would allow you to charge a strong burst. then hold secondary and jump to set the hit direction to upwards. then , when you hit an object, the force of the blast sends them Straight up.
The Gravgun could also have some interesting interactions with weapons , like the ability to Snatch Proxies and Firemines , redeemers , and even Unactivated Turret beacons.
Anyone in the clutches of a tractor beam , would have a very bright glow around them , and would have partially distorted view.
