The installation didn't work!

I downloaded the .zip file, extracted it to my UT2004 directory, and started the game. I went to the communities tab, activated ChaosUT2, and it began to lead, took me to the desktop and said this:

I have already installed the newest patch (3204), and I have deleted both of the .ini files in the ChaosUT2 directory. I have tried every solution found on this forum, but it still gives me the same error!
Can someone help?

Try starting it, so that it creates a ChaosUT2.ini. Then open this file, and look for the two Paths= lines that end in /*.upl, and move these above the other Chaos paths.

Another error.
The mod starts up, and I see the splash screen. Whenever I try to start a botmatch, it starts like it is loading, then says this:

Note: This happens on duels, deathmatch, you name it.

Yeah, it still crashes.
The UT2 Chaos screen comes up, but I can't play any matches.
I try to start a botmatch, then the game starts loading the map, (it even sometimes gets to the part that says "Press fire to join the match!") Then I press fire, and it crashes to the desktop with the error above.
I'm so confused!

Just to update you guys, I recently installed the newest patch with the hope of fixing the "crash-to-desktop" problem.
But to my dismay, I still recieve the General Protection Fault! error.
It simply refuses to work on my computer!
This is my sad face

try deleting your chaosut2.ini and chaosut2user.ini files (again if needed) after patching.

and when/if it does crash can you post your chaosut2.log file here again so we can look at it? Sorry for your trouble.
