Homing rockets would be cool, it would really be cool to see homing rockets when you alt fire. Hehe 3 rockets chasing you.

There has been some talk in the Dev forums but nothing serious as of yet but most likely for the next version of CUT2 there will be a new model for the RL!

Currently spirits fill the role of "Mad rabbit syndrome inducer's",any screens of the new RL
I think that Proxies with jetpacks attached to them would be better,a "AAAAAAH" on fire,"Burst Burst and awaaaay" on the start of attacking

New rocket types may be a possibility. Nothing is definate yet, but some discussion has occured on the subject.

How about a cluster rocket? It smacks into something and generates smaller mini-missiles that go haywire and fly all over the place, hitting things then blowing up.

imo the AR's and (iirc)Grendade Launcher's grenades seem to do the same currently,no need to use the same effect on more than 1 weapon

Howabout this rocket ammo:
primary fire: fires a lead rocket that can be controlled by the player like a redeemer. It buries itself in its target
Secondary fire: fires a stream of rockets like a normal rocket launcher except they home onto the lead rocket but dodge walls and other obstacles.
These rockets could be smaller, faster and do less damage to their enemy. The lead rocket should be made hard to control, for a more balanced game.

yes... if you hold the target in your crosshair for long enough for it to lock on.

I have an idea- Sludge rockets! they shoot out sludge on impact that slows you enemy and hurts a bit ~5-15 damage per rocket

How about airburst rockets? Instead of them having to actually hit the target, use the altfire to detonate them mid-air, generating a dese cloud of needle shards...
In fact, (if possible) it would be kinda neat to be able to load up three and laser guide them, so instead of using the awo or changeammo keys to remote detonate them, you could use the opposite key to the one you launched them with.
Or they could automatically go off if they got wthin a certain radius of a viable target (or is that too spammy?).
Also, the needle shards could pin players (or at least bodyparts) to nearby walls and such...
In Re: Disruptor rockets. Just to switch things round a little, they shouldn't do exactly the same job as the disruptor grenades; The whole EMP thing is great and needs to be in there, but the flash thing could easily stand to be replaced by a concussion effect, that is, everyone in the blast radius takes little or no damage but massive knockback (more than the shockrifle if it hits you dead on).
Mebbe call it the "Dislocator" or something - perfect for dislocatin campers and such
