Doom 3 expansion pack

Strange but true...

I have my doubts if it will be worth buying, they will need more then 8 player internet maps, the return of the two barreled shotgun and a new SP story if you ask me.

Still it is ofcourse to early to tell.

EDIT: Another strange thing is that id will publish this one with Nerve Software while the original was id software only.

I never got the original, but it looks neat, so I might buy it when the price goes down (and when I get a comp)

sure,it looks neat,but i hope that in the XP the pacing,style of the map's will do a 180 degree flip

i dont suggest buying it,after you go thru the demo youve seen all there is(atleast 3/4 of the level design)

erm what i meant was those three things will be included, but I don't think that it is enough to get people buying it. Don't get me wrong I like D3, but I think that expansionpack is not very attractive.

Oh noes!

The XP seems more attractive than doom3 itself,becouse then it could not have levels with a zombie around every corner and a nice weapon to boot

was it just me or was doom 3 soooo repetative that by the end of it you knew where the zomebies were gonna spawn before they did. peice of piss last boss also. i want id to go back ands make doom3 again, but just redo literally doom 1....same levels, same easy story, same hellish amount of monsters....do "dead simple" again! or "the courtyard" on nightmare!

none of this crap someola levels, and tedious level editor (u guys tried that!omg!) get us doom. Theyve also nicked the gravity gun from half life 2..... good, doom 3 was such a let down. "play once, never again"

D3 was a real letdown, the nly thing goin for it was the graphics, level design was uninspired, and there are no real moments that stand out, even the "Berserk" is boring, resuraction of hell loks the same, only with more demons to frag, and MultiPlayer is only there to show ppl that its MP capable, IDK what u mean with the G-Gun (did D3 rip it off or something?) but as for weapons...

indeed. i go with that list. bar that number one for me is the bfg outta doom, when u did the cheat to make it fire chickens....

the unreal2 machine gun was pretty awesome, but then again, id swap any gun for a big hefty bastard sword....shoulda had that on d3...chainsaw sucked.
