Hello,

Well here's my 2 cents about HordeHunters.
First of all I'm totally addicted to this mode, therefore I played it many times. Keep it going.

Here's some bugs/advices I found:

Imps are really annoying to say the least. Apart from the fact that the bots have really a hard time dealing with them, they get stuck in many maps (for example CE-Dungeon) :wink:

I tweaked the game to last 30 rounds but a few times the round won't reset even if there is no monsters left! So i was stuck and had to forfeit the game.

Why not making some missile weapons (throwing daggers, darts, bows, ecc.) for the players and the bots? You could switch between the two types of weapons.
And like in Rune the possibility to throw a limb or a head of a monster will be excellent :twisted:

Apart from that the mod is awesome, and I'm eagerly awaiting the next patch!!!! 8)

stuck and imps:i have heard it will propably be fixed for 3.61(or 3.7,not sure)

throwable weps:i doubt it would be worth to model,skin,animate,code new weps if they are for just one gametype(would unbalance duel and be useless in CUT wep matches)

thanks for the feedback. We had to rush some things in order to hit the MSU deadlines and along the way a few things should have been tweaked more. Had we 48 hrs in a day instead of 24, then we might have gotten to them :) But check our our main page for some changes to the HH game type. We have tried to address some of the issues you found as well as others. Hope this will help....

Okay after playing another hundred hours (mmmm guess I'm totally addicted to this mod :wink: ) here's another bug/advice:

Skeletons when dying moan like children or something. I guess it will be better if there were a sound like bones crushing in a heap or something.

I played with 8 bots and sometimes in a match 2 runes of the same type appear in the game (for example 2 bots with runes of vengeance) and 1 rune is missing.

Monsters falling over my head are doing some damage but on the contrary I can't crush a monster trampling him.

Monsters and bots alike camp at the bottom of an elevator making it impossible to climb on it.

Whenever Duke are summoning imps, even killing the duke sometimes doesn't stop the imp to appear.

OKay I think that's it. keep going with HH!!!!! 8)

hmmm well last (small) bug I forgot to mention.... on the player hud the player's score go maximum to 999, even if the scoreboard show the real score (1000 and so on) :wink:

well some more feedback :D

Why not have a counter for the monsters left in the round so that everyone could see how much monsters are still in?

Another small bug: sometimes a single monster will stop, not moving at all and being a cheap kill 8)

We've got some fixes to the sounds in the next version (much better sounding), and lots of improvements all around. HH is getting a major facelift, and without any deadlines to worry about, we're making sure that Chaos gameplay is as smooth and efficient as possible before we make the next release.

Once, a monster got stuck on a bouncepad, thus making it impossible to kill as it was always moving up and down.

could you not get on the bouncepad and collide with the monster in midair , Then kick him????

Reminds me of a situation i observed in Argonmod... Monsters will do the same thing in Rune. Course, when they do that I just chuck my axe at them. That seems to work.

Guess in Chaos you have to do a bit more work.

new melee idea! you can throw your weapon at your opponent! then of course you would have to get it and if it is on the ceiling then you're screwed.

Sorry to sound like im being mean, but thats not a new idea at all. As a matter of fact that is prolly one of the most posted ideas, next to the Jetpack Proxy. LOL

the problem with weapon throwing is that there are two ways it could work,one teleports them back to the hands of the player,and the other turns the player into walking frag

one seems just silly,the other makes wep throwing too dangerous to be worth using
