I noticed this small bug for a long time, but I have remembered it only yesterday during a bot match.
I was playing on BR-Anubis, my team just scored and I was using the proxy camera (for bots hunt ) during the 5 sec. before new round respawn. Well, the proxy has respawned at a player start, and I spawned at the proxy location before the new rounds, that is to say in the blue base. I have exchanged my normal place with the proxy while using its camera. Isnt that crazy ?
So if I understand you, you basically got reset at the start of the next round and you were controlling your correct player pawn just at the location of the proxy...and the proxy was reset at your teams spaw point...
