Chaotic Dreams

I directed a friend to the chaos website, and he wanted to know what the Chaos mod was. Surprisingly, that's actually not too easy to find out! Here's what he said to me about the whole thing:

12:43:29 <PigeonGB> But doesn't say what Chaos is.
12:43:45 <PigeonGB> So About Chaos tells me more about the group than the mod.
12:44:05 <PigeonGB> And I guess at this point I can't tell if it is a single mod or a bunch of mods that happen to be made by the same group.
12:44:42 <PigeonGB> However, now I see an intro to the manual, and it describes what it is.
12:45:12 <PigeonGB> But About Chaos would have been a better place for it. You know, because I'm not looking for a manual on
using/installing/developing it. I'm just trying to figure out what it is, and About pages usually do that for me.

Sounds like he's obsessed with 'about' pages, to be honest. The manual for example, does not require him to read about "using/installing/developing". There's a link for "weapons", "features", and so on.

But anyway, the bottom line is that we are looking (again) for a volunteer web person. There's a million different ways you can lay that stuff out, and we're open to new ideas. But that also means we can't promise your buddy that there will be an "about" button that pleases him. He just might have to be willing to click on other words as well.

In terms of layout, yeah, I knew it was in the manual, but at the same time, it's really good to have a blurb about what the mod is that's one click away on the main page, or better yet, sits there on the main page itself.

And we're open to those ideas. We could use a whole new/fresh look.

Soon as we get somebody willing to tackle the job, you're more than welcome to make suggestions like those.
