Something interesting...
You know, I've noticed that, Chaos consistently gives me WAY better framerates than UT2004 ever has. I mean, like a 20 fps difference. I'm wondering whether anyone else is seeing this other than me. It almost seems like the Chaos team coded their mod better. I dunno. Does anyone else see this?

Hmmm that does not sound right at all. Can you remove you chaosut2.in and your main ut2004.in and try it again? Not sure if its an issue related to the video settings. Sorry about that. No dice. Tried it. It may be a bug in UT2004, since I also have several player skins that do the same thing. I du...

Anyway, here goes: Log: Log file open, 06/19/04 22:43:54 Init: Name subsystem initialized Init: Detected: Microsoft Windows ...

Any at all in your UT2004 folder? There should at least be a UT2004.log in there somewhere. Okay, I found it. This is in my UT2004/System folder. Here's what it says: Log: Log file open, 06/19/04 22:43:23 Init: Name subsystem initialized Init: Detected: Microsoft Windows XP 5.1 (Build: 2600) Init: ...

Weapon skins...
I have no skins for my CUT weapons. The textures are there before I pick them up, but, when I use them, all I see is a reflective surface. And certain ones, like the Grenade Launcher, have no skin BEFORE I pick 'em up, then auto-magically gain textures after I have 'em in my hands. Did I do somethin...
