Daggers:
These weapons are actually the least of the 3 imbalanced weapons, IMO. But they still have this ugliness about them for a couple main reasons.
- Instant blocking - You will notice that dagger owners have unbelievable blocking abilities, even when not swinging, its just the way the character holds the weapons, especially during a dodge, they keep their arms up and daggers crossed, easily blocking attacks.
- While their quickness is reported to be less damaging, I think as someone mentioned before in that post about the damage values of each weapon that the 6 damage points is per dagger, and the multi-hit that occurs makes each attack a little more devastating than what is shown on paper.
This one has got to be the biggest problem, Ive seen new players come on and destroy other skilled players with this thing, and skilled players that use it are just unstoppable. Yes you may get a few hits off on the guy who holds this thing, but it wont be long till you get headshotted with one swing. The angle of each normal swing is directly at the neck making it a few short lucky swings from clearing all the heads on the map. This weapon, and a certain player that has been known to over-abuse this weapon, phantasma, who has been banned on many servers for his attitude and overly headshotting with this weapon (no not my server, yet), is the most unfair advantage. The biggest problem is the damage is at full power at the start of the swing, meaning that the way the axe is held in idle state causes a player who runs into it to be headshotted before the swing animation is even executed. Each weapon has pros and cons, but this one has one extra pro, its super long, not as slow as the templar, and each normal swing is neck level, with a powerful damage multiplier behind it. This weapon, above all others needs the biggest nerfing IMO, and its funny that it needed the most help in the PR2.0 version since it didnt have a right-direction swing animation, only a left... you guys went a little too high ;P
War Hammer
Last and certainly not least, is this bad boy, who's size overcompensates in game vs on paper. I've noticed that even one of the official beta testers has also agreed that its size overcompensation causes a few too many headshots with the overhead swing.
Keep in mind these are based on what I've read from conversations in game while spectating or chatlogs, as well as my own experiences. And I hear that many people try to find this site at www.chaosut.com but cant, so they look elsewhere like Gamefaqs to start conversations. I think if it was relocated to a more obvious address, a lot more of the players that I see everyday, those of which I never see in these forums, would find this site and be able to voice their opinion to show that its more than just me thats seeing this problem.
