One thought about SG replacement..., don't forget that the bots, esp higher level bots, use the SG for movement. IMO, they use it more for movement then for defence.
So anything you conceive for a SG replacement, would have to take this into account, and allow for the same movement from the bots, or else you would have nerfed them greatly.

I don't like the U2 Dispersion pistol. It actually looks like a pistol, as opposed to the classic Unreal one. Dispersion pistols need to be large and ungainly, and somewhat evil looking. And I also don't like the fact that it isn't upgradable. If there was one for CUT, it should have the occasional upgrade appear somewhere on the map, like the gravbelt. There could be different types of upgrades as well, and you could switch between them with the AWO, like an instant hit one, somewhat like a low powered shock rifle. oh... talking about cpp... uhh, why does it shoot faster when your holding 2 of em? it gives you this crap feeling when you spawn , somehow it reminds me of those guys who found out that they could 'snipe' with the normal assault rifle as long as they fire one bullet at a time, except the cpp really fires one bullet at a time, except in secondary mode, which is, well... secondary... i think it should start off shooting as fast as when your holding 2 of em... and what does cpp stand for? chaos (something that starts with p) pistol?
and oh, about the bots... when they grab the flag, they switch to swords etc as if they switch to shield guns... as if they are hardcoded like you guys say they are, they do the same with the other weapons
and about those swords... umm their animations really look pre-release to me...i think they gotta swing a tad bit faster, heck you can move faster than your sword in chaosut2... the 'follow through' should be slow, but the swing itself should have as little latency as realistically possible...

i doubt you didnt notice a hammer and sword moves at the same speed
